Bi means green, Luo means snail and Chun means Spring. One bud and one leaf are plucked in the Spring season and rolled between the fingers to create “snails” which slowly uncurl as they brew. Best brewed in glassware to fully enjoy not just the beautiful aromatic flavour but also the pleasure of watching this leaf unfurl. One of the ‘Ten Famous Teas of China’ this is a true classic.
Watching the ‘snails’ uncurl is a meditation in itself. This is a luxury green tea to be savoured.
